I have the laptop a bit 'less than a month and everything is great. I knew all the big battery, so that was not shock. It 'still pretty hot, but then most laptops? Performance is great, nice and fast and boots Windows 7 looks pretty good. The only negative is that the surface and the keys to do a lot of fingerprints I've never noticed the laptop before.
